Quand je pense à mes grands-parents, je pense à leurs sacrifices et à leurs rêves à la fois, au travail et à leurs petits moyens, au pratique et à l’inimaginable. Je crée un pont entre eux et nos habitudes actuelles en créant des objets pratique pour la vie d’aujourd’hui. Un sac offre de multiples fonctions, transcrites à travers un lien fragile entre industrie et artisanat. Dans cette collection, je veux faire cohabiter la dimension du réel et du rêve, en prenant exemple sur la vie de mes grands-parents. Leur rêve était notamment de pouvoir offrir une meilleure qualité de vie à leurs enfants que celle à laquelle ils avaient eu le droit. Quand on a peu les moyens, chaque chose doit être choisie et optimisée. Un sac, un objet, un accessoire ou même un bijou, finalement pourquoi choisir ? Une anse peut alors devenir une ceinture, un foulard, voire un bijou. Finalement, chaque élément d’un sac peut vivre indépendamment, en ayant sa propre fonction. Sublimer et rêver la réalité quotidienne.

In this collection I seek to bring together dimensions of reality and dreams, like my grandparents’ life.
