Dollection
Dollection s’articule autour du fait de collectionner et d’accumuler et les principes que cela implique : l’accumulation compulsive, le syndrome de diogène, mais aussi le fait de restaurer, de classifier, d’archiver. L’acte de collectionner est abordé comme remise en question de nos habitude de surconsommation en changeant notre rapport à l’objet montrant ainsi qu’il vaut mieux réparer ce que l’on a détruit plutôt que de tenter de le remplacer en se confortant dans cette logique de destruction. Cette reflexion se manifeste par les références esthétiques que sont ma collection de poupées en porcelaine, mélangé au vestiaire des Gyarus refletant l’idée de groupe en abordant la question de goût et donc d’obsolescence ainsi que les codes de l’intérieur puisqu’il s’agit de l’espace dans lequel se créé une collection.
Dollection revolves around the fact of collecting and accumulating and the principles that this implies: compulsive accumulation, the diogenes syndrome, but also the fact of restoring, classifying, archiving. The act of collecting is approached as a questioning of our habits of overconsumption by changing our relationship to the object, showing that it is better to repair what we have destroyed rather than trying to replace it by comforting ourselves in this logic of destruction. This reflection is manifested by the aesthetic references that are my collection of porcelain dolls, mixed with the wardrobe of Gyarus reflecting the idea of group by addressing the question of taste and therefore obsolescence and the codes of the interior as it is the space in which a collection is created.
