UNIMARE
Unimare se présente comme un souffle utopique sur le sujet tristement actuel des flux migratoires et de la notion d’accueil encore difficile en Méditerranée en imaginant une union méditerranéenne.
J’ai chercher à définir à travers des éléments symboliques se qui lie les peuples des deux rives du bassin au delà d’objets spécifiques régionaux, avec comme fil rouge l’accueil, la fraternité et le partage : Le scooter emprunté à 2 ou plus, la table que l’on partage, le maillot que l’on brandit ensemble, la lessive que l’on étend et l’oliveraie que l’on plante et cultive.
Le tout inspiré de codes sportifs et nostalgiques des années 70.
Unimare is a utopian take on the sadly topical subject of migratory flows and the still-difficult welcoming of migrants in the Mediterranean, which imagines a Mediterranean union.
I aimed to use symbolic elements to define what binds people on both shores of the sea, beyond specific regional objects, elements whose common threads are the welcoming of others, fraternity and sharing: the scooter borrowed by two or more, the table we share, the jersey we brandish together, the laundry we hang out and the olive grove we plant and cultivate.
All inspired by the sporting and nostalgic codes of the 70s.
